SEREOLIPI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Sereolipi, Kenya

The auditorium pavilion will incorporate a multitude of programs including an auditorium for 300 children, a clinic, two classrooms, and a general gathering room for elders. The LAB has been working with Phil Anzolnale of Columbia University who invented the trusset system to help with the design of the self sustaining roof structure that provides energy via photo voltatics and short span truss that allows for the attachment of various panels and can be configured in a multitude of curvilinear spans. The school is currently in the design phase and waiting for fund raising efforts.
